# Context configuration: Edge SDKs

> This topic explains how to configure contexts in LaunchDarkly SDKs. This feature is available for both client-side and server-side SDKs. This page covers edge sdks.

## Edge SDKs

Here are the configuration options for contexts in edge SDKs.

### Akamai

  To configure contexts, the Akamai SDK uses the same code as the [Node.js server-side SDK](#nodejs-server-side).

  The Akamai SDK does not support sending events, so [private attributes](/sdk/features/private-attributes) are not supported.
